Our broker Pat O’Day has personally owned and operated more than a dozen yachts, from small sailboats to a 114' Fedship, and is familiar with all aspects of yacht ownership.
Sherwin Sy’s experience with boating is extensive. He has been with CYL since 2001, starting as Office Manager, while finishing school at the University of California San Diego, then moving up into sales. His knowledge is very comprehensive and he is skilled at handling transactions from start to finish. He has emerged as the Top Salesperson at CYL for 2006 by completing boat sale transactions in California, as well as Florida.
Mike Broemer has been with CYL for more than 3 years. He grew up with boats in his home states of Minnesota and Michigan. After 12 years in LA and NY as a professional photographer he was hired on at Continental to do video and virtual tour ads. In 2004, Mike obtained his license as a Yacht Salesman and immediately distinguished himself as a Top Salesperson in 2005.
Jeff Pfister is a “Navy Brat” who grew up in Southern California, at the water’s edge. He has owned boats for most of his life. With one of his vessels he did commercial tuna fishing from N. California all the way down to Baja. With another, he ran a charter for serious weekend fishermen. He has also piloted for boat owners who hired him to take them to Mexico.
Our knowledge and boating experience will help you in marketing your boat and/or buying a new one. Our staff is licensed in California and Florida, the only states that require a license, and we do business nationwide.
We advertise in all the West Coast boating magazines, as well as on Yacht World and Yacht Council, the premier boating web search engines. We participate in monthly Broker Meetings where we promote our listings. We exchange information with all the Brokers in Southern California, by e-mail.
Continental Yachts can provide virtual tours and underway 360 degree videos of our listings, to be displayed on websites. We also broadcast then on a TV facing the boardwalk at the Marriott Marina, the public spaces in the resort and all the hotel rooms. Our location and our front row slips attract maximum attention from potential boat buyers.
